Highly conductive, improves ground system performance, and protects ground conductors and electrodes. Establishes an electrical bond between the ground rod and Earth. Used as a backfill to surround standard ground rods and XIT systems during installation. It is based on natural clay formed by volcanic action and specially processed to be very electrically conductive. Bentonite back-fill’s enhance the performance of the grounding system. Poured in dry and hydrated or mixed with water until a slurry is formed and pumped or poured around the electrode in the hole. Approved by The National Sanitation Foundation.
